That's a pretty low price to get into a 69 and it will be pretty rough when you find one.

Where are you located? Are you willing to travel to pick one up?

Continue to save your dollars in the meantime and try to climb up to the next level and save yourself a lot of work. The better the Mach 1 you buy the less work it will be and the less it will cost. (No doubt it will cost you plenty anyway.)

For that price range your probably looking at a parts car, but you never known what you might find. Good luck with your search.

There is NO WAY that you will even find a rusted out hull for that price.
Even if you did it would only be a hull at that and would need 20 grand in old parts just to make it complete.

I do daily national searches for Mach 1 cars / projects and in three years I have never seen such a car for that price.
There is only one car in North Carolina at $1000, but with no title and not one part on it and it needs a rear quarter panel.

Listen to these other gentlemen when they say that you need to save more. AgreeThese cars are highly sought after and highly valued by thier owners. They command alot of cash to get into one and thats why you want one as well I am sure.

Tell us all where you are located and how far you are willing to travel to go pick one up....we will help you find one once you get more cash reserves built up for an initial purchase.Undecided

KEEP THE FAITH AND IF YOU HEAR A RUMOR OF SOMETHING SITTING SOMEWHERE ACT ON A.S.A.P.......YOU NEVER KNOW...I WAS ABLE TO SCORE MY 69 MACH COMPLETE MINUS THE FRONT VALANCE AND AIR CLEANER FOR $200. THE RUMOR WAS OF A MUSTANG ABANDONED IN A STORAGE UNIT AND IT WAS THERE. DRIVE YOUR BACKROADS AND ALLEY WAYS AND SEE IF YOU SEE ANYTHING JUST MELLOWING IN THE SUN OR UNDER A TARP. DID ANYBODY READ JERRY HEASLEYS RARE FINDS BOOK? THAT HAS SOME COOL "FINDS".....GOOD LUCK TO YA
