Original owner research?

Hey everyone: Does anyone have a suggestion on how I might research the owner history of my car? I have a '69 Mach 1, R-Code 428CJ that I bought in 1974. I wish I could recall the owners name I purchased her from. He said he was the 2nd owner at the time. Would love to know who the original owner was, etc. Would also love to know what dealership the car was delivered from. Anyone know of a way to research this? Thanks all!

To find out the original selling dealer and original configuration of your car you can purchase a Marti report.

There is a lot of good info in the report.

Once you find out who the dealer was you could check with them if they are still in business. Some dealers keep their old records.
