I stumbled across this website and thought I would pass it on here. There is a picture of 70 Mustangs on the Assembly line and an interview with a worker. The worker did not work on Mustangs but the assembly line subject matter looked interesting. He worked on the line in 72/73 and makes mention of Mustangs a couple of times. These are audio interviews and I did not listen to them all! Enjoy!

Ford San Jose Plant Assembly Line Worker Interview
Tim didn’t build Mustangs at the San Jose Plant but you will get a real taste of what it was like to work on a Ford assembly line. Ed Meyer and myself interviewed Tim for two hours.
