Hey guys thanks for all the thoughts. Much appreciated, sorry I didn't reply sooner as I was on my way up to get them. I'm staying with my son who lives about 2 hours away from the cars. We're set to go saturday morning to get them. We're using my trailer and a rental from a local company in Kankakee Ill. where my son lives and bring them back to his place. Then we,ll decide wether we can pull 2 or not? HA!HA!HA! We will see. I appreciate everyones input, be assured if it proves out to be a Stupid Idea!
I'll let you know. Wish me luck!

Well Guys I hate to say you told me so. It didnt work out like planned. My 94 F150 saddeled up and pulled like the hoss she is. I thought yes!
it's gonna work. 1st gear eased off, 2nd gear gained some speed, 3rd gear ok, shift to 4th, hit 47 mph and the mach1 at the back got a mind of it's own. It was like holding on to the lease of a large dog that had to pee real bad, but just couldn't find the right spot to go! Slowed down pullled off, and got out and checked all attachment points, every thing looked good? checked air in tires ok, checked lug nuts ok. Tried again same results, 47 mph brought the swaying, tried to go a little faster, at 54 mph I realized we were in deep shit teritory! I've only gone 3 miles! Oh well. I couldn't see driving 45 mph all the way to Arkansas 450 + miles. So begrudingly I turned around and took the Mach back to my sons shop for storage, until spring break. Then I'll have a whole week to go after it, and can put it on the trailer all by itself.
After that the trip was uneventful. we were able to run 65 to 70mph with the 72 fast back and was stable as could be. We made it home about 10:00 pm. But I sure wish I hadn't had to leave it!

It was worth a try; at least you didn't have a catastrophic failure!

Hey - you gave it a go!
As Rare Pony said - no major incident. That's good.
You know what you got, you've got one home, you were able to visit your son, and you get to visit him again.
It's all good.
