Plastex plastic repair products will work with virtually all plastics. Methods used to make repairs, replace or bond materials will depend on the type of plastic being worked.

In the vast majority of cases, Plastex, a polymer not a glue or epoxy, will create a molecular bond with its surrounding materials a cold weld if you like. Plastex is extremely well suited for the following materials:

ABS
Fibreglass
PVC
Acrylics
Carbon Fibres
Composite materials
Polycarbonates (Lexan)
SMC
Vinyls
Nylon
Wood

Our most recent development, Plastex 3000 which has a 12 hour curing time, is specifically designed to work with polyethylene & polypropylene and other more challenging plastics. Like our original Plastex polymer, Plastex 3000 can be used to recreate parts and items that otherwise would have to be discarded.

Our unique reusable moulding bar works with both our original Plastex polymer and our new Plastex 3000 flexible epoxy. Heated to approximately 100-110 degrees F (toasty warm but cool enough to handle), this moulding bar material becomes soft and pliable like silly putty but when cooled to room temperature retains memory and becomes a mould. This then allows for the creation of either a new part or the reproduction of texture. Literally within minutes, a part can be either repaired or recreated, and stripped threads can be repaired in minutes.

Plastex has repair applications everywhere:

Cars & Trucks:dashboards, trim, steering wheels, body & bumper, head light assemblies, tail light assemblies, hub caps, even radiators
Motorcycles:fairings, fenders, saddle bags, dashboards, instrument clusters, windshields
Marine (small & large):fibreglass & wood hulls, dashboards, instrument clusters, tonneau cover tabs, windscreens,
Maintenance:electrical (bakelite), plumbing, furniture, laminate flooring,
Hobby:aircraft, boats, cars, kites & trains
Agriculture:water, fuel & pesticide tanks
Golf Courses:golf carts, landscaping equipment
Power SportsATVs, Snowmobiles, Dirt Bikes
Home:1000s of repair items from kitchen cabinets to vacuum cleaners to vinyl windows to toys to the do-it-yourselfer who regular finds uses we havent dreamed about yet

Plastex cures in *20 minutes, and is fully workable in 1 hour; sand it, drill it, tap it, paint it and/or chrome it in 1 hour.

It loves extremes (-50 F to + 275 F), has less than 1% shrinkage, and has an indefinite shelf life.

Plastex is truly a remarkable product with a WOW factor that few products have.

Plastex comes with a 100% money back guarantee.
