I'm sad I don't have more room, I have a simple 2 car garage and its packed floor to ceiling with stuff, so any of the suggestions made in this book below are for luckier people than me!
This is a book review but it gives some great tips and if you really want to follow thru go buy the book. Oh and be sure to add pictures of your awesome garage!
The 'Ultimate Garages' series of books are also a great source of ideas to get inspired by.
I converted a small (180sq mtrs) factory unit and now live in it with my cars. Best move I ever made but not ideal for every one. My uni student daughter is with me and we get on fine - usually!
Security is great as when I am at work so are they and when they go home so do I. Its nice and quiet evenings and weekends and I can make as much noise as I want. The other business love it as I can phone them after hours as required.
I have to be the only car enthusiast here who doesn't have his own garage. I have to rent one and it is definitely a P.I.T.A!! How I would love to work and store my car right at my home. Maybe one day...
I love the 'floating' door. Must be held up by magic.....
For those who havn't looked see my thread under Rides and Toys - 'Home Sweet Cars' - some interior pix of my 'house'.
