Well here it is back when she was shiny.1985 in NJ.notice no plates on the front of the car.a sure give away it was a first picture.Was wondering what the front rims are called they are stock.and where they optional? if your wondering the paint is early 80,s Porsche red. the law sure noticed it back then.thanks for everything everybody.this site is great.more pics to follow of what she looks like know,which is not good but i still have it.

Rare Pony I thought for sure you would answer this one, must have missed it. Till Rare Pony comes back around... Yes, Ford had this as an optional rim on the Mustang. What Ford called them? I know I should know but am at a loss currently. Help Rare Pony.

Yeah, it appears that the fronts are factory '73 cast aluminums, but the rears are wider aftermarket wheels, possibly made by Ansen. Ansen Mfg. made a lot of these in the 1970's.

Yes they are Ansen sprints on the back,they are uni lugs,which are supposedly able to fit a chevy or all makes,i did find another pair of factory rims for the back.they need some work.most of the screws for the hub are broken off due to corrosion/electrolysis.i consider myself a pro at broken hardware removal and heli coils.

Ford just called the Forged Aluminum Wheels. They were optional on all the models, did not come standard on any. They shine up real nice!
