Ther vert looks like a lot better condition than the coupe. Did you find out if the floors were solid and was he interested in selling at all?

Just add the exterior Decor group and wheels and it would look like mine!

There are conflicting stories coming from the house. The first time I spoke with the mother and she was willing to trade it for what I was driving (a 2002 Discovery).

The second time I spoke with a sister and she said her dad was going to fix it up for her to drive.

Yesterday I finally met the owner. He is a university engineering student, home for the weekend. He did asked me what it was worth. There would be no market here for the car. He hopes to fix it up and I offered my help for knowledge and parts location.

Rare Pony, I did look under the car and the floors looked solid. I was surprised because it had sat out for so long.

It is originally a 1973, Dearborn assembly with a 302 2V. A convertible with standard interior, Wimbledon white with white knitted vinyl. C-4 automatic, 3:00 axle and Jacksonville, Florida DSO.

I haven't been able to decode the motor in it currently but the 2V intake manifold has casting ID of C0AE 9425 B. I surmise that it is a 1960 390.

Great report! Hopefully he will fix it up and it will be saved from slow deterioration! If he changes his mind maybe he will contact you. The 390 sounds interesting!
