Wow, looks like a lot of hard work is paying off. Looks like you know what your doing to be the first restoration you have done. Taking it all apart will ensure your Mach will last another 40 years or longer! Keep the progress pictures coming.

Thanks I do appreciate the support.Of course with the body work and paint i had the support of a professional.I find the reassembly very gratifing.I finished the rebuild of the toploader last winter here is a pic of the main input bearing you can see its missing about half its bearings this the condition it was in when the car was shipped to me from california.
I rebuilt the trany with a kit I bought from Toploader heaven.Very informative cd came with the kit and made the rebuild a breeze even if you have not done it before.Just the snap rings gave me a hard time as they were of a different config than the ones I have typically seen and my snap pliers would not work on them.

great restoration man. looks like you're putting in a lot of work. i rebuilt my toploader with a friend too....i'd do it again anytime. keep up the good work!!!
