Wow cool project Shesha;

There are alot of options for powerplants for that cool Ford.

Id put in a cool 429CJ engine in it.:

I havent been to Kuwait since 2003, so I am wondering if gas is still cheap there? I think if I lived there I would have to have a dessert race car as the terraign is really flat and great for all out sand drag racing.

If you have not already obtained all your needed factory service manuals Then that is what I would get first.

good luck

Mach 1 club thx :-)

MasterBlaster thanks for the compliments, I have been waiting for some time now to get my hand on an old stang, was after a 69 but found this mach 1 that was well worth it.

Gas is pretty much where it is, speaking of which here is a good table that shows how cheap gas is around the world.

I was even surprised as to where Kuwait was, I would have thought it would be up there... lol.

Yeah terrain has not changed much, but the overall city has changed alot of skyscrapers now.

Manuals is for sure one thing I would really need to get my hands on, but I need to narrow it down as much as I can.

Shipping books half way across the world is not cheap, lol.

That was the thing I noticed also but I remember showing up to a Mustang show in Nebraska with my wife in my 39 chevy and the lady at the entry booth telling me we dont have a class for you till I opened the hood and had a 5.0 H.O. EFI under the hood she said "We'll put You in special interest class" which I brought home a first place trophy.just goes to show you to each their own.

Try eBay for the shop manuals, but I agree, it is not cheap to ship from the US to overseas. I've been selling some old British car manuals on eBay and have sold several items overseas! Sometimes the shipping costs more than the item!

I guess if I showed up at a corvette show in an edsel that was powered by an air-cooled VW engine, they would put me in a special interest class too.

Am trying to locate pictures online for the Mach 1 on hand, specifically the area in the engine compartment the sheet metal and the metal interior found in the drivers compartment.

Need to find out how the metal panels look behind all the interior upholstery and dash panel and behind the engine.

Trying to find out if there is anything missing or any metal panel needs to be replaced etc.

Has anyone come across a photo reference manual or online project that I can refer to to cross check what I have on hand.

Thanks

Ive got plans to help out with the manuals at least for the 72 Mach 1. Just need to find the time to do all the 50 things that Im trying to do internet wise. If I could be 5 people things would move mush faster.

If I didn't need money to eat that would also help a lot with my time factor! Pray
