Ha! I guess my pic adding attempt worked! OK..here is the short version. I found this car by accident back in 1998 and bought it knowing I didnt have the money or time to restore it. It was a rotted hulk so I wasnt too worried to stuff it in the garage and let it sit for 10 years. In 2008 I decided I should give myself a swell 40th birthday gift so the resto started in earnest. The car drove its first mile this past June and is simply awesome. I have the Marti report..it was built in Metuchen NJ and sold in Philadelphia and spent its salty, rusty life in the Northeast. The beautiful blue paint is the original color..medium blue metallic. The car was mostly bright red when I bought it. It was a 351W 2V car with a FMX automatic and a open 3.00 rear. It is now a 427W stroker "clevor" with a 4 speed toploader and a 3.25 limited slip rear. More pics and info to come..

Thanks for the kind words guys. I still cant believe how far I have come. It is just awesome to be able to jump in it, fire it up and drive it! One certainly gains humility and appreciation from a project like this...I hope I can help people out here as much as folks helped me over the last few years.
