urethane front bumper...

I have a 72 mach 1, currently I am running a chrome front bumper. I do have the original urethane bumper,
when I,m ready to repaint it will I need to add special "flex" agent, to the top coat? and or a special adhesion modifier? Finally what type of primer works best? I intend to repaint the entire car using base coat, clear coat system with a hardening agent since I don.t have a booth (oven) to cure the paint. I will be using a HVLP gun, For now I just want to repaint the bumper, the rest of the car a couple years down the road. Any ideas?

The body shop had a hard time getting my front bumper right; they had to redo it twice (without me even asking). The paint guy said he finally had to get the PPG rep to come out and help mix the paint so it would not crack. It's been about 16 months since it was painted and still holding up well!
