Too early to tell. Hopefully we will get to at least take it for a cruise this summer without paint and all the shinny trim piece's. Imagine it will be in the paint shop next spring. Kinda hoping to take it to the Sracuse Nationals next year.

More pictures LMAO!!!!!

Who would have thought you could fit a '70 Chevelle in the back of a truck.....

Rad support & bumper brackets are welded in place and fit awsome. Front end is hung and the panels are lining up really nice. We layed the new hood in place to see how it would look. This project is really coming together.

Please continue to leave comments. Hopefully the heat takes a hike so we can get something done this weekend so more pictures can be posted.

Well, this sure explains where you have been. I love the effort put into this car. (Can't imagine the cost) Post more pictures of detail adaptions and conversions as the mode hits. How many hours have you got wraped up in it at this time? I love it.

My neighbor and I have been working in this for 3-4 months. Usually we work on it every night after work and a few hours Sat or Sunday. Right now we are waiting for rain rails so we can instal the roof/quarters. Although there is always something that needs to be done. I will continue to post pictures are things are done. Cant wait to take the picture driving down the road. When we got the Corvette Chassis I was driving it up and down the road. It was like a REALLY big go kart :)

*Picture Update August 17th 2011*

Last couple weeks we have been re-building the firewall and blending it into the original corvette firewall. Also the rotten roof braces have been replaced & the rear filler panel to get ready to install some new quarter panels. Trying to find all the spot weld to remove them hasn't been the highlight of this job. Maybe by the end of next week we will have atleast 1 quarter installed and hopefully the firewall is ready for paint.

Whats wrong with CheVette. Great thing about turning Chevelle Emblems into Chevette Emblems is no one will even notice :) This is the Chevette that should have been.....Original Chevettes were neat in their own special way but this is uptodate hahaha
