WHY IS ONE POST REQUIRED AFTER REGISTRATION

I have changed the time requirements for adding a post after registration to 72 hours. I was getting some hate emails/messages because guys were not receiving the email confirmation after registering. Sometimes this is possible since the email sent by our servers is automatically generated some email providers spam filters catch automated emails as spam even if they are legit. There is nothing I can do about that.

So now with allowing for 3 days to verify an account this gives a potential user plenty of time to contact me to get any issue resolved.
Otherwise all accounts are removed after 72 hours with no posts!

If any legit member has any issues, I can always be reached at 800-391-4932, if I don't answer leave a message and I will return your call.

I want members here that want to be here if your looking to create issues or just be a lame spammer your time here is short lived, that I promise you!
I will ban the name registered, the email address provided and I will also ban the IP of of the offender.

Mach1Club is all about protecting the members that frequent this site and continuing to provide a fun and safe environment, that is the only thing I care about!!

Hopefully once the new members get registered they understand this site is very hard against spammers so we all enjoy a trouble free site without picking up virus's from links in spammer sites.

Beyond my expertise, but I appreciate what it takes to have this site.

A lot has to do with sincere desire on the part of the new member. The hurdles are not that great to jump if there is a genuine desire to participate.

Well most of this is dependent on unknown users, they have the grace of 72 hours.
If it is absolutely apparent there is a spammer with links to something stupid, those are removed as soon as its noticed!

I'm usually automatically logged in when I visit the site, but when I logged in on the home page I noticed your announcement to guests still says they have to post within 24 hours. Thought maybe you overlooked it and might want to change to 72 hours.

11 Accounts removed today for non posting after 72 hours. Sorry if this creates any inconvenience but its they way it is. Post once or your accounts removed, no exceptions.

21 inactive accounts removed. If you register and do not make at least 1 post to our forums within 72 hours (3 days) of registering your account will be removed. We want people that want to be here. If you cant at least introduce yourself it means you don't want to be here. Nothing personal, we just want to know your account is a real person and not some spam bot. All it takes is one post and your in. If not your account is removed.

Removed 8 accounts today whom did not make at least one post to the forums after registration within 72 hours. If you want to keep an account on this website asking you to make one post to the forums is not asking to much.
If you don't, at least now you know why your account has been removed.
