This site is awesome to say the least.
Banners are intrusive and a distraction on every website that has them.
I like the club thinking along these lines.
Keeping it simple
Distraction free
Keeping it friendly
Keeping it clean
Informative and helpful
Organized and motivated
and we all hope it stays that way. As It seems to satisfy almost everyone, and if someone has other radical views they usually don't stay very long. We all have a very honest and straight forward opinion of what this site is supposed to be about, and a common love for our cars, and a respect for ourselves and each other. If someone challenges these core thoughts and values. 
They are deterred guickly. If we don't police ourselves and this site, it will go the way of many others, the internet trash can! I believe all of us here have an obligation to preserve what we believe in, 
and to maintain those thoughts and not knuckle under to peer pressure from individuals, who don't believe in, or want to change our thoughts and beliefs. We are who and what we are, for a reason, if a man can't believe in himself and stand up for that,
