Fixed it RP thanks.
Steve thats a nickname I gave myself when I started working at John Deere.Nothing more relaxing than climbing on a tractor hooked to a plow and watching the dirt roll.

Gotta agree with that, was the best relaxation for me away from a pressure filled product design job, no phones, no bosses. Now working on our Mach1 is my relaxation.

I do get alot of relaxation working on the mach but everytime I get in the shop someone shows up wanting something fixed.Just cant tell them no cause the money I generate out there goes in the Mustang.Eusa_dance

Your Mach 1 looks great!! I was curious if you purchased an after market (repop) door on the passenger side. If so, I am curious how the overall figment was with the other body panels?

I need a passenger side door for my car and having a hard time locating an original door that is not already rusted out. I know how hard it is to locate good solid original doors as I looked for almost 2 years for a driver's side door for a 66 mustang. I am thinking on purchasing a repop door for my Mach 1.

If you or anyone else have purchased after market doors for their restoration project please let me know how the overall quality and fitments was. I have spent relentless hours searching and chasing an original door only to end up disappointed. This time I want to go reproduction.

both are repops the car was full of cancer before I bought it the Previous owner had bought the doors and fenders they were a lot of work to get to fit but they do fit.Make sur to make sure everything fits before painting though right down to the door handles cause you dont want to drill on after paint.I installed the doors made them fit then drilled tiny holes in the hinges and door for alignment after painting the jams and it worked good for me.

So ... how's the progress? No doubt you have had a busy summer and here we are with fall harvest (what little Iowa will have) close on us.

Have you been able to progress on the Mach 1?
