On the mustangs 71/73 you are left with few parts to beef up the under side of the floorpan . To make a frame is costly . Getting everything in the right place and work right is even harder . With the lack of good parts makes it worse . If the floorpan is gone beyond that point . Your car sit,s dead on the spot . I need some input or am I the only one trying to save a hurt mach 1 . Myself I waited on this car 30+ years . So this is like saving a long lost friend . The safety has to come first make it right to save a LIFE !!!

The 71/73 Mustangs have been getting more respect in recent years. I've noticed more reproduction parts becoming available. We can only hope this trend will continue. Maybe some other members may have some ideas on helping you complete your repair. Good luck.

You should try living in Australia. At least the parts that are available you guys can get easily. It costs us an arm and a leg for shipping out here.
