This is my first time to post so be easy on me. I am doing a resto-mod on a 69 mach1 that i am very excited about. The mods i am doing may not be up to the times so to speak, but they will be neat to the eye. To start, an efi 5.0 with a 5 speed manual trans with my car being an original 4 speed this is not so hard. It will be lowered 2 in with more progressive springs for better handling. I plan for 4 wheel disk brakes and rack and pinion steering to add to the suspension. I am going for a 69 version of the famous "elanor" from gone in 60 seconds. Silver in color with the black out on the hood, but none of the other factory stripes will be used. 17 in torque thrust billet wheels, polished outer lip and gun metal center with low pro pilot tires for the feet on this project. I have shaved or eliminated all the emblems and trim with the exception of the hood trim. I am going to use a billet aftermarket grille and the factory lower valance to finish out the front of the car. The interior will be black in color, mainly all stock with a few upgrades such as a nice sound sytem and light smoke glass. I hope that with this brief intro maybe you can see the project in your mind, but i will be posting some progress pics at a later date. Thanks very much for taking the time to read this and i hope you will track the progress as i post it.
