71 update

Thought I'd update the progress, I still need to paint out the hood but have been thinking of repainting the car.
I painted the car in the garage and ended up with lots of dust in the paint (Forgot about the openning at the top) due to the wind picking up. Lesson learned: Don't rush and tripple check the makeshift paint booth. Cut & Buff won't help Sadcry

We have been driving it since April 2010 and having fun with it, even with a tired 351 it grabs a decent 2nd gear with the C6.

2011 plans will be a rebuild on the 351C and reinstalling the A/C. Believe it or not the wife got herslf a trophy at the last Mustang Plus car show, we were all surprised and asked if they made a mistake.SCo_huhsign

Too bad about the dust, I've heard that's a problem while painting without a ventilated booth. It's going to be a sharp looking Mach once you get it right the way you want it. Hang in there! Cry

Grabber Lime for '71 is my favorite color for these Stallions. Bright Lime for '72 is also at the top. When I'm done with my Bright Blue 72, I will look for a Grabber Lime car. Great job on the restoration. Wish I could see it up close. Tim
