Rear passenger floor pan replacement
#11
OK!!! done for the day, went ahead and stripped all the EPT coating that was on the floor pan, remover the filler I used to smooth out the welds. I proceeded to clean the entire floor with a wire wheel on my grinder then scuffed the floor with 220 sand paper and applied my first coat of chassis saver( I hope this does what is claims to do). The only issue I'm having is either to use duraglass on the welds to try to make the floor smooth or just leave it alone ( I'm intending to use some type of truck bed liner coating Monstaliner is from the same company that make the chassis saver). Well here are my pics you can see how the rear passenger floor pan section turned out.

Thanks for the compliments, today i test fitted the seat platforms need a bit of trimming to make it fit but it works. I have a question to you guys out there has anyone tried fitting a pair of front seat from a newer year Mustang 2009-2010? I know they will much more comfortable than the original set plus they will also recline. Any information is greatly appreciated.Cool

You might want to consider the seats out of an 03/04 Mach 1; I've heard of this being done, but don't remember where I read it. The design is reflective of the original Mach 1's! They have the comfort weave design and the stripe at the top/center of the seat. They are very comfortable and give you plenty of support for cornering. All the power seat controls in integral to the seat, so just hook up a power line and your ready to go. Just a thought.
