About a month ago I saw a Mustang being sold on ebay and one of the photos had a letter from Ford detailing all the info from when the car was built. It was dated from the early 1990's. I thought I would contact Ford and ask if they still provide the information.

I received an email back from them saying that because of the age of the car they would send the request to their archives department and it would take four - six weeks and they would email me a copy of the build sheet.

I received my build sheet yesterday which was just under four weeks and I just want to say that everybody I dealt with via email were great and so helpful. I was amazed that they would still have the records and were so helpful towards my request.

Pretty kewl that Ford offers this service. GM chages like $50.00 for the same kinda information. Who knows what Mopar would charge. Here is another link to the informarion

Thats the neat thing about Ford , As mostly a family company , they are a very differant breed. Class A company
Short story , Many Years ago about 38 , I lost a Ford Financed vehicle to a repo , I owed quite abit on the truck yet , when it was all said and done . I received a letter saying I owed them nothing and the debt was forgiven. Since then I have financed many more Ford vehicle from them and will continue to be a loyal Ford fan.
