dash - 1969/1970 mustang dash fit in a 1971-1973 mustang
#1
Hi guys. Im new to the forum. I just picked up a 1972 base model mach 1. Im gunna do a restoration on it but goin pro-touring with it. Well my question is will a 1969/70 mustang dash fit in a 71-73. I would guess there would be some fab work involved or would it bolt in.

I am far from a car guru with regard to body size but I did find this information.

1969 Mustang

1970 Mustang

1972 Mustang

My question is are the dimensions close enough not to need a ton of fabricating? This is absolutely above my knowledge level hopefully someone else here can help.

You then will need to be concerned with a wiring harness etc.. Why not just keep it what it is and do something special with the dash you have? seems like a headache to me. Crazy

There is virtually nothing in common with a 69-70 dash and a 71/73 dash.
