The car is probably worth more than you're asking for. It seems to be in far better shape than most of the Machs in this price range you see on eBay or Craigslist.
I think, however, the major problems your boss is going to face here is that you are selling a collectible right before Xmas and tax time and also right before winter when most people will be unable to drive a cherry collectible for 6 months or so.

I am flying up to Kentucky from Florida on Monday so as to inspect the 1972 Mach 1 on Tuesday. Everything looks good for a transaction. Hopefully we'll have a sunny day. Will keep you Mach 1 lovers posted.
Thanks for the great website and its picture-posting capabilities.

Thank you to Chris for posting the ad on this web-site in the first place and for being a first class host and seller. He made the connection, inspection, and transaction smooth and trouble-free. What more could I ask!? Hats off to Chris! My 1972 Mach 1 Q Code (351-4v, matching numbers motor, with original low-mileage reflected on the title) is on the road to Florida. Time to bring it back to its original showroom beauty!
What is more, thanks to the administrator of this great web-site. It is the best site for Mach 1's hands down. Picture-posting capabilities and a "for sale" section were the seeds that eventually bloomed into this transaction. So, tip of the hat to the administrator of this site. You made it possible! All the best to you and yours!

Tim, Thank you for the kind words! I am glad that you appreciate my efforts. I am also glad to see that this car is in the right hands and the car's condition will only improve from here. Make sure to keep us all updated with pics and info of it's progress back to showroom condition.
