From Holland
#1
Hi,

I'm Erwin and I live in Holland. I am the proud owner of a numbers matching '70 Mach 1 in mint condition. It's color is Medium Bright Blue Metallic and it loaded with a 351 4v Cleveland. I have it for 4 months now and already won third prize in concours driven class (1964-1973) on the International Mustangshow in Holland last month.

A couple of things are on my list to make it perfect, so when winter starts, I'm going to work on that.

I'll try to put some pics here, hope you like it:

Looks great; do you know much about the history of the car? Has it spent it's whole life in Holland or imported more recently.

Welcome to the Club and keep the pics coming!

Thanks!

It's spent it's whole life in California at one owner until 1998. Then a Mustangshop in Holland bought it for restoration. But a customer convinced them to sell, and he bought and rebuilt the car completely. When it was finished a friend of his bought the car because he couldn't keep it anymore. This new owner became ill for a long time and stored his car. He could not drive it and decided to sell it after 5 years because he was healed and wanted to buy a house for himself. It only had gained 1000 miles from the day it arrived in 1998 in Holland!

I saw the car and fell in love. I had to sell my own ride, a 1968 Mustang convertible GT. That took a year and all that time the Mach 1 was being held back for me!

I'm looking forward to reading and learning more about the car on this forum!

Hi Erwin,

Nice to see you here!Welcome2
You have a great car!
Third place is very good, you must have been so proud.
I posted the videos of the meeting with you winning third place (and us winning second) on events pictures thread.

Again, good to see you found this place, we need more mach1 drivers from Holland.
