Car Names: What do you call your ride?

Vehicle ownership is a very special thing. It’s a bond that forms between the owner and an automobile and it’s one that is very hard to break. Some of these bonds last for months, others, for a lifetime. Cars get under our skin and can, in some cases become a mechanical member of the family. They’re with you through good times and bad, they see holiday’s, births and deaths, and have the ability to be that fence post you lean on when you need some support. Me personally, my cars are family members and I take care of them as such. Sure we have our ups and downs, but at the end of the day and as strange as it may seem, I think we have a mutual respect for each other.

What I’d like to do is compile a pictorial list of cars and their names to post on the site so what I need from you guys is simple. Take a picture of your car and post it here with the name of your baby!

So far, the only that's stuck (without having lots of laughter and further ribbing from my buddies) is 'The Rustang.'

I don't know what will happen when she's finally running again - but for now, it seems appropriate. It's been called all sorts of other things (again, mostly by my buddies) like: "Rolling Tetanus, Project From Hell, The Old Nag, That Poor Thing Used to be a Car,' etc.

I also don't normally name my cars... other than terms of endearment like, 'my pile,' or 'my junk,' and whatnot (meant in that loving way only the owner can understand). We'll just hafta see if this one earns an actual name or not.

Our 69 Mach 1,,,her name is "Priceless". Look closely at the NC tag on the front of the Mach and you can see the word "Priceless". If you can zoom in, you can see that that NC tag ran out in 1988,,,,LOL

Rare Pony of course. I came up with the name because of the rarity of the 04 Mach's, the fact it is the rarest color, Oxford White, and it is an automatic, of which few were made. My 73 Convertible is commonly referred to as "The 73" but is also known as "Ole Pony"!
