Im contemplating another purchase ;)
Ive been looking for a Mustang that is an up in coming collectible and another one I can baby, much to my wife chagrin.
I'm currently looking at a 1993 Mustang Cobra. Its vibrant red and has gray leather, production 414.
In looking at Nada the prices they show are unrealistic and the one Im looking at is gonna cost between 9-11 thousand.
So essentially I want you guys to talk me out of it!
But also please tell me your opinions either way.

I'd love to own a MINT STOCK 87-93 Mustang Gt/Cobra.
Sorry, can't talk you out of it, specially if its Mint/Stock.....
Good luck with the purchase :)

What Im wanting opinions on is do you think this particular model Cobra will have special value down the road. 5100 total 93 Cobra's produced, they all come with certificates from Ford as well. This car is only important to me if it has collector value down the line. From everything Ive been reading it seems this is considered the next up and coming valuable Mustang.

Maybe you should stick with the idea of a convertible similar to the last one you looked at, possibly a Cobra convert. The converts usually bring more bucks if maintained well. Then there's nothing like cruizin around on a warm evening with the top down. I miss the 98 GT Convert I had, but sold it and got an 01 Bullitt that my son uses as a daily driver. I didn't want to turn a teenager loose in a convert.
