Anyone know what DOZA 1130G Wheel Covers Would fit?
#1
I have a set of DOZA 1130G wheel covers that are 15" I am guessing they would be used on a 15X7 steel wheel. Here is a picture of them

When I researched it I found out that 15X7 wheels are VERY VERY rare but no information on the covers.

Has someone along the line put Mustang center Caps on them and they are actually off a Full Sized Ford?

Any information would be great......

Thanks

According to the Mustang Recognition guide by the Editors of Mustang Monthly, these D0AZ simulated magwheel hupcaps came in 14 and 15 inch and had a red center. Of course you see a lot of Magnum 500's and dogdish hubcaps and not many of these hubcaps anymore, especially in 15 inch. There were also Argent slotted wheel unique to 1970. Your black center caps appear to be off a 73 sports wheelscover which looks the same as your 1970 ones. 15 inch steel wheels came on many Boss 302's and Mach1's.

I just tried to sign up on the Boss Site to see if there is anything said about them. I haven't been accepted yet. I can't imagine that they are anything special cause if they were I wouldn't have them LOL

Bill, I agree with the Boss 429's coming with Magnums.....and thats crazy that you have only seen 1 70 Boss with these wheel covers. Explains why when I searched for a 70 Boss with them I came up with NOTHING!!!

vamach1, do you think that my 70 Mach should have the Red Centers and not the Black ones? Far as I know mine have never been apart but who knows.

Would rather trade them for a set that would actually fit my car without using a REALLY big hammer :)

Talked to a few people from the Boss Forum and it seems that these covers would be correct for a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang. Seems there was only 166 Boss's that got this option. Wish I had a Boss that I could install them on :)

Here is a photo of one with them installed

I think it looks pretty sweet and different from the usual Magnum 500's.

Those do look sweet on the BOSS stang! It was also eplained to me that if you are looking for those 15X7 steelies (steel rims) around town. I was told when they ask waht car say either torino or country squire wagon because . If you tell them a mustang the value of your purchase just shot up double at least. That's just what I heard. I bought my set of 15X7 steel on e-bay .The guy wanted a grand!!! I talked him down to $600. The only reason I paid it was because my girl came with the 15X7's so I was trying to keep her as close to stock. I love the BOSS stangs. Sure wish I could afford one. 70 was my favorite. Magnum 500's were the most common on those BOSSES.
