Fuel line

Just started putting my 69 Mach1 together any one have a pic of steel fuel line route under car

Hi,

I do not own a 69 but quick question.  Are you bending you own lines or are you buying pre-bent ones?  The reason being, the pre-bent lines kind of route themselves through the under-carriage.  Generally the routing goes from the gas tank, then along the LH inner rocker, then routes itself to the outer LH frame rail and then through the LH inner apron of the engine compartment.

There is probably quite a few pictures online that will give you a general idea.

Here is a link that shows the basic routing.  Scroll all the way down.  The fuel line routing section is past the brake line section:

However, looking at the pics I am not happy how they have the line hanging there in the rear LH wheel well. It doesn't seem correct. There are special clamps that hold the lines to the frame and rockers. Also, note the line appears to pass through the LH torque box. I believe my Fairlane is the same way.
