An Opinion to Love or Hate

So I guess we have all heard of Game of Thrones. I was introduced, got hooked and bought ALL the available sets (Series 1-6)
IMO there are only two worthy and useful quotes in the whole series so far. They are found at:
Series6
Episode 7 at 33:40 and
Episode 8 at 27:10.

I hate to ruin it for you all by just giving the quotes here. I have to do something to stay sane these days -Even if it is only annoy you all. I will PM the quotes to those who ask, but I have made them easy to find....

GoT is a Medieval themed series. The stories follow the histories of two powerful families, and others, who seek to rule the 'Seven Kingdoms'.
HBO produced and one of the most expensive TV series ever made.
Major production area is in Northern Ireland but they have used existing buildings and towns all over Europe and Iceland.

Sounds kinda cool. I was under the impression it was along the lines of Dungeons and Dragons, of which I'm not a fan of. JTS 71 Mach1

Never played D&D and don't think I'll start.
The first 2 episodes of S1 are a bit slow but then it takes off. The 'making of' on the DVDs is fascinating, the costs, the number of staff and the trouble they go to. And then you get shown what you see was never there.

Just read an interview with a cast member who was a bit scathing in his view of some people in the fan base.
He said (more or less) it is only a TV series that could be renamed "Tales of Tits and Dragons".
I laughed.

I think he was referring to the fan-base who take these things too seriously, rather than the 'product' itself. He was pointing out it is only a TV series (even if it is staggeringly expensive).

But its: Seldom a good idea to bite the hand that feeds you.
