Hey all,
Haven't seen much activity lately on the site so I thought I would share a few more pictures on my progress. I thought I would be moving bit a quicker but the small detail work is slowing my progress. However, rear suspension is in and I'm ready to move forward...no pun intended!

Next on the list is tying up some loose ends, spraying the interior floor and dash, laying down some dynamat and then starting the bodywork.
As far as a drivetrain, I have a installed a 9 inch equa-loc rear with 3:89 gears and have a close ratio 4 speed top loader. I was able to locate a freshly rebuilt (never used) 289 short block a few years ago at a swap meet and I recently purchased the hipo cam and solid lifter kit for it. The specs are the same or very close to the original hipo motor cam so I am pretty excited to get it fired up to hear how the set-up sounds. I am also going to run a dual point distributor which I picked up at a swap meet this past summer. I had a restomod set up with my last Mustang so I decided to keep the theme of this car strictly old school. For the time being, I am pretty darn happy to just have wheels on her.

I'm back...very busy at work the last few months and we got nailed by a wicked blizzard here in CT so not much garage time lately. Here is an updated picture of my 66. Looking forward to Spring to get moving again on this car.
