Look up VIN by search of previous owner? - AG_71Mach1 - 01-19-2021
I'm looking for my great uncle's '71 (or '72, not sure) Mach 1. He would visit when I was a kid and I thought it was the coolest car I'd ever saw. He passed away in '86 sand his daughter sold it in '86 or '87. Is there a way to find the VIN with using his name? His name is the only info I have on the car.

The DMV should be able to look at a list of vehicles under his name? I would think. Now with all the privacy laws etc. It would probably be a help to you, if you had a friend at the DMV? or a Cop friend? I guarantee there is a list somewhere. Getting access to it could be the challenging part. Good Luck
