Hens tooth (73 Urethane bumper) - Oztrailer - 10-07-2019

Saw this for sale at a good price in a town about 1 & 1/2 hours from where I live a while ago so I arranged to buy it. Good thing was my uncle lived 5 minutes from the seller so got him to pick it up for me. I  was able to pick it up yesterday. The steel is rusty but will be able to clean up and the bumper is good condition just needs painting. I don't need it and hopefully never will but if I ever do I have it. I have read they are pretty hard to come by so wasn't going to pass it up.

That's a good lookin' bumper set-up - Nice Find!  Most all of the others I've seen were trashed-out beyond hope... but for this one, clean up the metal bits, sand and prep the urethane and it's ready for prime-time.

I guess you're right, as I sure didn't realize yours is a 73" Then you definitely scored big time on it! Like Eric said most are beyond usable. Good Job.

I think that would have been a good score in the U.S.

Finding it in Australia and not so far from you - major score!

Now you have a shed project to occupy some time.  Refurbish it and mount it to your shed wall with a glass top as a shelf and hope to never need it.
