Hooked up my windscreen washers - Oztrailer - 03-09-2014 Finally got around to hooking up my windscreen washers. I bought the bits to do it not long after I bought the car. Only took me 3&1/2 years to get around to do a 1/2 hr job When I got it the pump was all gummed up and wouldn't work so I pulled it out and got it running but I thought after all this time it would be gummed up again but it worked straight away so that was good. Thanks to Rare Pony for the photos in this thread http://mach1club.com/showthread.php?tid=4108 RE: Hooked up my windscreen washers - Todd and Son - 03-10-2014 Its funny how that little stuff doesn't get done. I have a dead yellow jacket wedged in between the dash and windshield from before I bought the car that I haven't sucked out with a vacumn in the 3 and a half months we have had the car. I just don't think about it with so many other things to do and then I see it as I am done messing with the car or passing by it and mentally kick myself. T RE: Hooked up my windscreen washers - Mustangmike - 03-10-2014 Congratulations!!!..And a shout out to Rare Pony for the pics!! RE: Hooked up my windscreen washers - Steven Harris - 03-10-2014 Congratulations! Now if I can just get my whole car back together. Steven you need to get it closer to where you are, but you are so busy doing other stuff you still wouldn't get to work on it I reckon. RE: Hooked up my windscreen washers - Steven Harris - 03-11-2014 Very true - Steve O. I am not sure though that I would want the car too close to where I live as someone else might want it and "persuade" me to "sell" it. To make matters worse I just volunteered to have my son bring his Maverick back down so that I can complete some details on it for him. That now puts the Mach 1 on a list after my son's Maverick, http://youtu.be/PekBsPVrHGQ my daughter's 67 Ranchero and my own 84 TLC. And that is just the hobby list! Do they have a name for my illness? Anyway - glad you were able to accomplish a small detail on your Mach 1. Enjoy the ride with a clear windscreen. RE: Hooked up my windscreen washers - Mustangmike - 03-11-2014 Hey Steve...cool video of the Maverick. Sounds Great!! RE: Hooked up my windscreen washers - Oztrailer - 03-11-2014 Hey Steven you guys lost the bonnet RE: Hooked up my windscreen washers - Rare Pony - 03-17-2014 (03-09-2014, 10:08 PM)Oztrailer Wrote: Finally got around to hooking up my windscreen washers.
